Home Remedy For Itching
  • A simple way to treat itching is to bathe with oatmeal-water. Put 2 cups of oatmeal in a bathtub with lukewarm water & take a bath with this, the itchiness should go away once you come out.
  • Sprinkle the corn-starch in the affected area. Alternatively, some corn-starch can be poured in the bath water as well.
  • In the bath water, add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, this would work well to provide relieve from itching.

  • A simple yet effective remedy for headache would be to apply a sandalwood powder paste over the forehead. Let the paste dry, then wash it.

  • An effective remedy for treating cough would to slightly cut a lemon and fill it with black pepper. Suck this as it would reduce the cough.

Home remedy for Earache
  • In a tsp of sesame oil, add half a clove of garlic. Heat this until it becomes warm. Lie on the bed and put 4 drops of it. After 10 minutes, change the side and put the oil in the other ear.

Tips

A little oatmeal added to soup will not only thicken it but also add flavour and richness.

Bulk cheese will keep longer when it's wrapped in a paper towel dampened with vinegar and placed in a sealed plastic bag. Re-moisten the paper towel every few days, as needed.

Never wash an oily pan. Instead sprinkle a little salt on it and keep it on stove till just hot. Then wipe with paper. This will clean the pan.
