  • Leftover curds can be added to vegetables and meat curries, in place of tomatoes to make a rich and delicious gravy. leftover

  • While making sandwiches, do not throw away the sides of the bread, cut them into small pieces and deep fry them, when they become crisp, add them to your soup or salad.
  • leftover dal or sour curd/buttermilk is very useful for curry leaf plant.
  • with remaining cold idlies we can make a nice "yummy-recipe" also! cut idlies into equal size, cut  2- tomatoes, chopped 1-onion, 1-green chili, curry leaves 4, chopped coriander leaves, very little curry masala, fresh lemon juice-1tsp, salt, oil -1½ tbsp, crushed 1-tbsp peanuts. seasoning with oil with mustard seeds, one broken red chili, one tsp urad dal, add curry leaves, green chili, tomato, onion,  fry for a while then add cut idly and a bit masala, salt, stir well. finally, mix lemon and crushed groundnuts and coriander.. serve hot.
  • Do not throw away the hard stem of cauliflower, cut finely, and use for making soup.
  • If you have so many left-over vegetables put them in a food processor, mix it with wheat flour and salt, ajwain, green chilies, and make a dough, making parathas of this will be very tasty, healthy, and consuming all the leftover dals and vegetables
