Soya granules curry
Ingredient list
- 1 cup - Soya granules (store bought)
- 1 - Onion, chopped fine
- 3 slit - Green chillies
- 1 tsp - Ginger garlic paste
- 2 - Tomato large, chopped fine
- Mint – a handful of leaves
- Coriander – a handful leaves
- ¼ tsp - Chilli powder
- ¼ tsp - Garam masala
- 1 tsp - Mustard seeds
- ½ tsp - Urad dal
- 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
- a sprig - Curry leaves
- Salt – as per taste
1 tbsp - Oil
Preparation
- Soak soya granules in hot water for 5 min. squeeze them out of the water completely. Keep aside.
- Heat oil; splutter mustard seeds, urad dal, cumin seeds, when they sizzle
- Add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, till it golden, add onions, fry until onions turn brown and limp.
- Add coriander and mint leaves, fry till it curls.
- Add chilli powder, garam masala, and fry till raw smell leaves.
- Add in chopped tomatoes and salt. Continue to cook over medium heat till tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
- Add soya granules, sprinkle some water, close and cook for about 5 min mixing in between.
- Cook till done.
