Spinach parathas
Ingredient list
- 1 cup of plain flour (Atta)
- 1 tbsp. Oil
- water for kneading
- 1 cup spinach washed & finely chopped
- 1 tsp. red chili powder
- ½ tsp. cumin seed
- salt according to taste
- 2 tbsp. plain flour for rolling the dough
- oil / clarified butter for making the parantha
- serve with chutney or pickle or just plain fresh curds.
Preparation
- Mix spinach with all the other dry ingredients together.
- Knead the flour with all the ingredients including spinach as stated.
- Roll out the dough like roti with the help of plain dry flour
- Now cook on a (Griddle) with Ghee (clarified butter) or any cooking oil of your choice, until light brown and serve hot.
