Mooli Ka paratha

Ingredient list

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1½ cup radish, finely grated
  • chopped radish leaves
  • chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 chopped green chilies
  • ½ tsp. chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp. ajwain
  • salt and chili powder according to taste
  • oil (clarified butter) for parathas

Preparation

  • First mix together the salt and flour and rub in the oil(clarified butter), then add enough water to make a stiff dough.
  • Now prepare a mixture of the remaining ingredients together and keep aside.
  • Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a shape of puri and spread the radish mixture on it.
  • Now seal the edges nicely and sprinkle a little flour and roll the paratha in a round shape.
  • Grease a tava (griddle) with oil(clarified butter) & place the paratha over it, when done on one side turn on the other side and apply oil(clarified butter) again and fry properly till both sides turn golden colored

Notes

Serve hot with a tbsp. of butter on paratha & a bowl of curd.
