Ingredient list

  • 1½ cup grated paneer/cottage cheese
  • 1½ cup tomatoes chopped Finely
  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • 1 capsicum chopped finely
  • 1tbsp  - chili ginger paste
  • 2tbsp - coarsely ground cashew nuts, optional
  • 1tsp - chili powder
  • 1tsp  - garam masala powder
  • ½ tsp  - sugar
  • 2tbsp - oil or butter
    Salt to taste

Preparation

  • Heat oil and add chili-ginger paste and sauté, now add onions saute till golden then capsicum and mix well.
  • Add tomatoes, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add paneer, chili powder, salt, sugar and cashew nuts.
  • Mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. serve hot with roti or paratha.
