Ingredient list

For the dough :

  • cup of plain flour (atta)
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • water for kneading

For filling :

  • 1 cup paneer crumbs
  • 1 tsp. cumin seed
  • 4-5 green chilies finely chopped
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp. coriander finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. mint leaves finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp. Ghee ( Clarified butter)
  • Oil / Clarified butter for making the paratha
  • Salt according to taste.

Preparation

  • Knead the flour, add enough water to make a dough.
  • Mix paneer with all the other dry ingredients together.
  • Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a shape of puri and spread the paneer filling over it.
  • Now seal the edges nicely and sprinkle a little flour and roll the paratha in a round shape.
  • Grease a tava (griddle) with oil(clarified butter) & place the paratha over it, when done on one side turn on the other side and apply oil(clarified butter) again and fry properly till both sides turn golden colored
