Ingredient list

  • 1 cup of plain flour (Atta)
  • 1 tbsp. Oil
  •  water for kneading
  • 1 cup spinach washed & finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. red chili powder
  • ½ tsp. cumin seed
  •  salt according to taste
  • 2 tbsp. plain flour for rolling the dough
  • oil / clarified butter for making the parantha
  • serve with chutney or pickle or just plain fresh curds.

Preparation

  • Mix spinach with all the other dry ingredients together.
  • Knead the flour with all the ingredients including spinach as stated.
  • Roll out the dough like roti with the help of plain dry flour
  • Now cook on a (Griddle) with Ghee (clarified butter) or any cooking oil of your choice, until light brown and serve hot.
